Join Park Rangers Nick Francis and Rachael Weaver on a two-part guided morning hike starting at the Visitors Center overflow parking lot pavilion. We will walk down our tram trail to the West Entrance and into the park through our Wildlife Walk. Both rangers will talk about our unique park from its different land communities, how we manage our park with prescribed burning, and how we are a part of the Wildlife Corridor. Then shifting to the Wildlife Walk learning about all our resident animal ambassadors, Manatee education on conservation, and viewing our famous Underwater Observatory that floats right above our beautiful spring that flows throughout the park. Please be prepared to walk about 2 miles in good walking shoes. Bring a refillable water bottle, a camera, and a sense of adventure, hope to see you there!
